While growth is non-linear, the general direction is always something that any of us have the ability to decide. We can choose alignment, ascension, and better than what circumstance has provisioned.

There are people you will meet in life who will try and convince that your words don’t matter. These are the people who will invest dime and dollar trying to get you believe that what you say doesn’t count.

The ideals that we nurture, at some point will take root in our reality or require revision. Flexibility. Adaptation. Recognizing that you were never limited by the standards and expectations that you anchored your self-identity against.

The path least travelled means less company, less support, and less accolades… and while that may take some adjustment, growing through that transition will change you. You'll start to really recognize to what extent we are born from the thousands of choices we make every day.

There may be moments of challenge, hardship, and pain…but in pursuit of alignment, you’ll always have something to gain. In all cases, you have nothing to lose… should you choose to bring back to life the parts of you that society tried to qualify as lesser. But we know… We know… That a life devoid of emotion is not better.

Someone who attains material success without also having love and passion for what they’re doing will be the first to tell you it is short-lived. The true driver of long-term persistence, and of consistency, is the intrinsic reward received when you invest your energy in bringing your vision to life. Full stop.

Rather than shrink back in defeat, I found different ways to share my thoughts, ideas, and beliefs. I recognized that I did not need the approval I thought I needed, I did not need the validation that I wasted so much time trying to find… I just needed to find the courage to say, the things I wanted to say. And it was in speaking that my audience found me. And still, is slowly finding their way to me.

Theories on persuasion showcase that little, if anything, can neutralize the momentum established when emotional sway is created. There is power that is unleashed when you tap into emotion, in relation to the people, places, and things that you care about.

To desire anything above being authentic to yourself, should already be a note to self that further introspection is required. Self-alignment, self-actualization, and self-awareness should be the most powerful desire to propel our behaviours, but many would say just the opposite.

And for once, silence the version of you who is so good at talking you out of doing the things that you know are inherently good for you. Ultimately, we only get one life. Not just to exist, but to live. Live to the fullest, by daring to be the boldest and unashamedly self-assured.

Change is the catalyzer to the growth, healing, and transformation within us, preparing us for the people, places and things on our path.

Even in severing ties from those we deemed were toxic family members around us, it is crucially imperative to also sever the ties within us,

Rather than on who we stood to lose - ourselves - we discount that decided rejection, that choice we made all on our own. Speak up.

Without a self-informed self-portrayal, carefully curated with deep introspection to reinforce self regard, the external is left unchecked.

Pursuing ones calling requires no standing ovation, or external recognition, to feel rewarded by the experiences that the journey provides.

Remembering you have all you need to celebrate this year. Give yourself the freedom to choose what traditions to spend the holiday without.

Language enables us to see ourselves as more than the communities or the family from which came, we can use the spoken word to explore self.

Children who are not safe to use their voice within their family systems, often devalue their voices as they get older.

There is an unspoken tragedy in not developing an awareness of our own ability to support, protect and empower ourselves.

Celebrate each child's individuality, rise to their defence, and give them the tools they need to support, protect and empower themselves.
